my mom is wonderful!
she's been knitting for over 30 years and shes been making me wonderful sweaters! I know these aren't things i created but i really wanted people to see how wonderful these sweaters are!
For her birthday I took pictures of me "modeling" the outfits, and made her a portfolio of her knit stuff!
(oh and she taught me how to knit too:))

this dress i saw in elle magazine, and my mom had to tailor it to my needs.

thats the close up, she alternated between knit and purl

This sweater idea we got from the victoria secret catalog!

close up of the sleeve

this is a sweater vest. we got the idea from express

Gorgeous stuff! Your mom is amazing to be able to see and create like that, she should create patterns and sell em, or even sell finished products because those are beautiful!
And what a great daughter you are for doing that for her Smiley You're both lucky  to have eachother!

my mom doesn't knit, i learned from a friend, but she does sew, and when i was a kid she always made clothes for me. clothes i didn't particulary like, but it's the thought and love that goes into it that really counts. but anyway, when i saw this it brought a little tear to my eye, i just think it's so special when mothers and daughters share their crafts together! <3

a pile of shit has a thousand eyes.
