I've been away from Craftster for awhile, busy with wedding stuff. I'm sewing my dress, here's a muslin version I did recently (just ignore my notes in the pic) what do you think??

try the low back bra before taking it in. Sometimes the boning in those bustiers can add a slight amount of volume underneath and you don't want it coming out too small.

yes!  definitely try the bra first.  i used to fit brides in their bustiers/strapless bras/corsets for their dresses and it's incredible what a big fit difference they make.  i always recommend getting a good undergarments fitting before altering.
