My Dad came home with this dresser he bought at a garage sale for $4. I've been looking into buying a smaller one (mine was a HUGE antique dresser) and thought I would try and refinish it. I've never done anything like this before so I'm pretty proud of myself.

Great Job!!!


I'm getting ready to refinish a dresser that is very similar to yours. Gives me an idea of what mine will look like.  Been thinking of painting it black but was hesitant till now.

I love that style of furniture. You did a great job of making it more beautiful. The shabby chic in me liked the first picture too.
