I received two wonderful swap packages from phoenixfiredesigns and ThreadOrYarn this week!

Phoenixfiredesigns made me one of her beautiful tree of life pendants. I love the garnet gemstones! I wore this to work on Monday and I got lots of compliments

And ThreadOrYarn sent me some awesome hand spun yarn. I don't have her letter in front of me, so I am not exactly sure what it is made of, but I love the colors and the cool bows incorporated in the balled yarn.

And as an extra bonus ThreadOrYarn included an awesome hat that is similar to one on my wist and a headband. I love the dark green color of the hat. It should keep me nice and warm this winter!!

Thank you so much!!!

P.S. I seem to have lost my photo taking mojo today, so if either of you have better pictures, please feel free to post them!!

Yay! I'm so glad you love it.  Cheesy When I saw all the nature and specifically "tree" things on your Wist, I just knew I wanted to make you one.

Here's the pic I took before I sent it:

I just love working with the garnet. It's so dynamic and pretty. Anyway, please enjoy!!

Thank you for posting a better picture. I accidently broke my macro lens, so I couldn't get a better shot.

Ouch! Embarrassed I use my macro like crazy. I think I'd cry if mine broke. Then again, my primary craft is jewelry so macro is SO important.

Well, I finally did it. I killed my camera. I did manage, however, to get pictures of one of the skirts farmergirljane sent me. She is so awesome! Not only did she send me this perfect patchwork skirt, she also sent her pattern with it! She also made me a tartan tutu mini skirt using the best tartan I've ever seen. It was red and black (of course) with gold stripes instead of yellow. She also sent a tutorial to go along with it. And because she apparently loves to spoil people, she included some zebra and leopard fabric...lots of it! Thank you so much farmergirljane! I wouldn't have rather broken my camera taking pictures of anything else. Smiley

The size and length or both skirts are perfect!
