It has only one surface: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M%C3%B6bius_strip

I could have been even more evil... A Klein bottle (http://www.hairyfishnuts.com/klein_bottle.jpg) would have been reall challenging.

Holey Guacamole.  Annchen, I feel bad for your partner.  I've seen them but i'm not sure how I'd go about constructing one, and what I'd use.  Oy! Shocked
I'm always happy to see new swappers, I remember my first swap on here, I was so nervous!

The first round was my first swap and I was super nervous, but loved doing it- hence the second round Wink
I can feel the nerves brewing again. It feels so good to get your package and find out what your partner thinks of theirs.  Grin

Did you see the pic on the mobius page of the mobius scarf? That was pretty cute! I just said round. I kept it simple Smiley

I'm closing signups tomorrow at 12 noon EST.  I 'hope' to have partners out by tomorrow evening but don't hold your breath as we have company tomorrow and I have to work.

Here's some stats to ponder while you wait for partners - of the 16 participants, so far, we have:

8 from the US
1 from Canada
5 from the UK
2 from other Eurpoean countries

It's not super complicated to construct a moebius strip, but it's a fun shape. Here's how to make one in paper: http://mathforum.org/sum95/math_and/moebius/moebius.html

Nice mixture of people Smiley
