I think either one of those would be fun to make Smiley

I do!  I don't know what kind of yarn I'll use though.

I am going to make the first one using Light & Lofty in Antique Rose.

I might even play with the stitch pattern, but with boucle, it's a little pointless. Undecided

What are y'all going to do?

I've done the one in the first pic--darn I'll have to take apic and post it.

It turned out pretty good, but I had to adjust the slit in the back,.. my back is wider than it allows for.

but it's pretty straight forward.

i was always curious about the first one.  on the model, it looks as though it would fit awkwardly if her arms were down.  i hesitated to start b/c i thought it might look frumpy.

I decided that since the construction is so basic and I can't possibly get the guage I'm supposed to using Light & Lofty, I'm going to use some instructions from Crochetville to make my shrug.

The basic idea is here:  http://p084.ezboard.com/fcrochetvillefrm25.showMessage?topicID=322.topic
