Inspired by Cookie Monster's appearance on the Colbert Report:
http://www.comedycentral.com/colbertreport/videos.jhtml?videoId=174545

I decided to make me and my friend Katherine cookie lapel pins!!  I kept going and made cupcake lapel pins too since I love cupcakes so much.  This was my first experience with polymer clay.  Let me know what you think!

I'm quite proud of these cupcakes with the yummy looking frosting.  I had a hard time keeping the clay clean though. No matter how clean my hands were, there were always flecks of dust and lint in the pink Sad

I can't wait to send them to my friend who lives in NYC.  Hopefully she'll send pics of her wearing them!

Very nice cookies (and homage to CM).   I must have missed that Stephen Colbert! --fun to see the furry blue guy back on the small screen since my son is now grown and SS no longer the staple around here that it was.

Great idea to make them into "lapel pins" too since they could then be worn in so many places, or attached to other items more easily than on a pinback!
