I'd like to make a gift for my cousin's wedding, using the wedding invitation and the shower invitation. I don't want to just frame them.
Maybe make something unrelated using the papers? I'm stuck.
Suggestions?

I got two invitations back as gifts Smiley one was quilled, the other was framed with dried, pressed flowers.

Quilling is lovely. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to do that.
Also, to reiterate, I don't want to give them a framed invite. I want to make something different out of it. Change it's basic structure.
I still don't have any ideas, though. *sigh*

My parents have their wedding invitation framed in a cool oval-shaped gold frame - pretty simple, but there are pressed and mounted flowers in a neat symmetrical pattern framed along with it.  That might be a nice thing to try.

Maybe a memory book, photo album or scrapbook? You could prepare a few pages inside with writing prompts ("How I felt the morning before the wedding", "The first time I saw you", etc) and maybe discreet but different colored paper accents?
