[i have absolutely no idea if this is the right area for this post- please feel free to move it, or let me know where to move it to]

so my boyfriend recently decided to take up wood burning so that he would have something crafty to do while i was beading or whatever and this is his second attempt. i think its pretty good, especially when you consider that he'd never burned before.

ignore the pencil smudges and such- we havent taken an eraser to it yet. he found the image at an online tutorial site [which i am not sure, but if i find it i'll gladly put a link up]

the only thing hes not overly happy with is the ball on the top- he switched tips to try to make burning the curcular shape easier but it didnt work out as planned.

comments and criticism would be appreciated [id love to encourage my crafty man. Tongue] thanks for looking!

Want to learn to crochet or knit?  I have a ton of extra crochet hooks & circular knitting needles.  Will throw in some pattern books and yarn for anyone interested in a swap.

That is a very good first attempt. Woodburning can be tricky...and hot.
