La la la la la la!

I just finished the first piece of artwork for my October baby boy's room. It was inspired by the artwork of Yuko Lau. I chose a flying pig because wonderful and amazing things can happen when pigs start to fly!! The frame is an old wood one inherited from my grandmother's "art stash". I cut it down, primed it and painted it with acrylics. The frame was a bit labor intensive, but I think well worth the effort. I have an accompanying monkey king in the works. Will post when he's completed!

The frame looks amazing, and I really love the flying pig!  He makes me laugh, and I'm sure looking at it will make your baby very happy!

Wonderful!  And, I love the symbology of starting your wee one's life off with by meeting criteria for outrageously wonderful things to happen!
