Sooo I actually received from Wildflowers yesterday, but my camera died while uploading photos  Shocked It was very traumatic, trust me.  Anyway, Wildflowers went way above and beyond on this swap. My package was amazing.  I'm moving into my first apartment next month, so everything is destined for there.

Anyway, my mom was as excited to see this package as I was, so she had already opened it up by the time I grabbed my camera:

Upon seeing this adorable tea cozy (it has the same design on the other side, as well as the little raised flowers), my mom tried to claim it by saying that I don't drink tea. I said I would start because I could now keep it nice and warm.

Next was this Alice in Wonderland illustration (which definitely doesn't look like it was printed off the internet!) in a gilded frame, which will have a central spot in the mass of frames behind my couch ( sort of a la http://www.flickr.com/photos/sarahleeab/2557531146/).

Then I found literally the prettiest pincushion I have ever found.  I learned to sew when I was around 10, but for those 9 years I've only used the classic tomato pincushion.  That is changing.  Although I could also use this to display my sorority badge.  Hmm...

This is the side of the pincushion.  Can you believe all the detail she put into this?

My mother also tried to steal these Tiffany blue tassels, but in my mind they are already being used to tie back the curtains in my apartment's living room.

I need you all to giggle with me when you see this "extra".  To me, an extra is a little doodad you had lying around or a...I don't know what, but something small.  Wildflowers told me she saw this fabric and decided to try this out for me:

Shocked It's a pillow that looks like a Tiffany box!! It's good sized (I couldn't fit it all in the picture when it was on my bathroom counter), and the silky ribbon is appliqued on.  I'm a novice sewer, so I even thought it was cool that the ribbon matched up at the seams!

Thank you so, so much Wildflowers! I'm ending the bragging now.

I'm so glad you (and your mom!) enjoyed the box!  It was fun to think about and make for you.  Best wishes to you as you move out and off to college!

WOW!  Shocked That tea cosy is adorable and definitely inspiration for starting up a healthy tea habit if you haven't already! I LOVE that pin cushion! The detail is amazing, and it's so adorable! And the pillow is very cute - it matches your soon-to-be curtain ties!

I received from astrozombie yesterday. She made me some cool journals, a writing supply roll, note cards, and a watch hand necklace.

Journals

Writing supply roll with pen and that little jar is for ink with a nifty little bag for the jar.

Some notecards she did using letter press images as stamps.

Here is a close up of the watch hands on the necklace.

Sorry the pictures are not the best my camera batteries went out and those are the ones I got. Astrozombie also sent me a a pair of matching earrings which I did not manage to get a picture of.

Thanks for all the stuff astrozombie Smiley.

I love the writing roll! And the notecards are great, too! What a beautiful package. I like that it's sort of a theme, too. Smiley
