Alrighty, I just updated feedback for everyone whose items have been received and posted in the gallery. That's a big chunk! You guys are great.

If you're on the following list, please get in touch with me ASAP. If I don't hear from you by Friday, July 25, I will find a swap angel for your partner and you will receive negative feedback:

My husband said "Whats a kinderegg?" when I showed him. GASP! I responded with a "we can't be married anymore" joke and explained the splendor of the egg

LOL!

I'm so glad you like it!  In my mind, I kept alternating  between "this is a neat idea!" and "my partner is going to think this is weird."

Everyone has done such an awesome job!

Oh my! I missed all of page 11! The Kinderegg is sooooo cool! And I love the owl! And the shiny dragon fabric is neat for a pincushion!

That toadstool is the cutest thing I've ever seen.
When I saw that you posted, I thought you'd received your pin cushions CeruleanEyes ]:

I received from jennyleigh yesterday, and boy am I one lucky girl!

My first pincushion is a decoupaged box with a pincushion on top. I'm always losing my smaller sewing supplies, so this is wonderful! I love Mary Blair, so she found some small images of Mary Blair's art and put them all around the sides of the box.

Here's a close up of the art along the sides:

My other pincushion is a patchwork chicken that I have christened Martin, after a Jane Austen character who farms:

I love that he is a little cockeyed. Jennyleigh said it made her laugh, so she left it, and I think it gives Martin lots of personality.

Only problem is, he's so cute I haven't yet had the heart to stick pins into him!

Jennyleigh filled both pincushions with ground English walnut shells, which is evidently supposed to be good for pins. It is sold in pet stores as reptile bedding.   Cheesy I think the filling gives them a very nice weight!

Jennyleigh, I tend to take pretty crummy pictures, so if you have any others you would like to post, be my guest! And thank you again for my wonderful pincushions!

Both very cool!  I love pin cushions that hold things.  And yours is adorable.  And Martin is awesome!  I agree, being cockeyed gives him character.  Cheesy

I just love this gallery!!  Grin
