I had a lot of fun making these napkin sets... each napkin has a tree from a different season, for a full year of napkiny goodness at your table, year-round. Smiley I made stencils for the basic tree shape and then painted the details with a brush.

And I like how the hands turned out too. (I used stencils for these)

I absolutely adore these!  They would make great housewarming presents.  I'm currently looking to buy my first house, and I have stuff like this on the brain, and I love the way they look and how you have them packaged too!

Adorable!  I especially love the tree---there's a central theme, but they are all different. Cheesy

How strange to see you here on Craftster! I knew I recognised that tree design on the thumbnail Cheesy

I like the handprint design, could be fun to do with your kids as gifts for relatives (nice and messy, y'know!)

Thanks so much for everyone's nice words! I agree that they'd be great as housewarming gifts OR hostess gifts! Also would be great with some recipe cards and a bottle of wine as a wedding gift.

doaflip, do I know you from somewhere else? :-P Are you a blog friend? hehe.

Ohh, yay! EmmaH, you are a prolific commenter. Smiley Good to see you here!

urvi, for the tree stencil, I found a tree punch that I liked and used that with freezer paper. Then I ironed the freezer paper stencil onto each napkin, used it, and peeled it off when the paint was dry. After my little accents were dry, I heat-set each napkin with my iron (front and back)... long process, but it was worth it! I also washed a few of them to test the ink to make sure it was set properly, and they came out perfectly!
