I claim UntouchableFace for handspun yarn and something else that I haven't decided

This is my 3rd claim, 2 sent, 1 received.

list in a minute

I'm in Massachusetts US, I do mostly knit, but I also crochet, spin, and used to cross-stitch, embroider and a little bit of tatting. I like the cooler colors (blues, purples, greens) but a little oomph of the red/orange/yellows doesn't hurt either. Nothing holiday themed please - I like being able to use my things all the time, not just a few weeks a year  Grin

My list, in no particular order -

Crafts

decorated (and absorbent Smiley) kitchen towels, potholders, etc

pretty 'yarn wrapper' band labels - to wrap around skeins of handspun so I know what kind, how many yards, etc

lounge-y shorts (43" waist)

small (palm size) squishy cottony plushy dh can hold onto when he gets his IV put in (he hates that part)

crochet-hook book-style zip-close holder for tall hooks. I have some that are longer than usual so they're are too tall to fit in the other holders I've got. (I think they're about 7" / 18cm long, but I can let you know for sure)

solid-colored brooomstick stick in dark-ish neutrals (ex- grey, eggplant, pine, black, navy)

shoe-bags (so when you put them in a suitcase you don't end up with shoeprints on all your clothes  Undecided )

handmade soaps, shower gels, lotions, salt or sugar scrubs, type stuff (but not a bathtub-soaking kind of thing) Thanks PinkyDamone!

rubik's cube stuffie (this idea)

double-stitch markers or any stitch markers for small needles (US size 3, 3.25mm or smaller)

wetbag to carry cloth pads (doesn't need to be waterproof, but resistant enough that something damp won't soak through the bag)

cloth pads or panty liners

small totes (about 6"x6", 15cmx15cm) with longish handles - I use them to hold spinning fiber when I use a handspindle Thanks GirlOSun!

A pretty, but not really lacy, ladies crocheted kippah this in one style I like but in purples and/or blues.

neckwarmer/cowl/shortscarf to wear with a pine green coat or an earwarmer/headband to use instead of a hat (I don't look good with the squashed hat-hair look  Wink )

Supplies

1 1/2" (4cm) cotton fabric squares (any color except neon-bright, and no holiday themes please)

anything to help me improve wire-wrapping beading kind of techniques. I'm self-taught and the teacher doesn't always know what's going on Cheesy

pretty tatting shuttles (and shorter than 3"/7.5cm)

Casein Knitting needles

Flex knitting needles (they look like circulars that have been cut in half)

New Pathways for Sockknitters book by Cat Bordhi
Cool Socks, Warm Feet by Lucy Neatby
Andean Folk Knits by Marcia Lewandowski
(pre-owned books in good condition are just fine with me)

something from, or based on, my etsy favorites or my wists

Extras
your favorite funny book (not  'funny by being mean/angry/insulting' style though)
'souvenir' bookmarks
Chocolate, plain or with nuts (unless you want me to share with the hubby - he likes the mint & fruit-filled chocolates)
tea, hot chocolate mixes
Gone With The Wind (paperback book) by Margaret Mitchell

I claim sharpie_slut for a wisty suprise.  Smiley

This is claim 4, 2 sent, 1 received

Hello! Thanks for crafting for me, y'all  Cheesy I like nerdy stuff like statistics, grammar, psychology, and I also like pretty things like paisleys, argyle, polka dots, stripes, and patterns made by the hypothetical love child of Martha Stewart and Amy Butler.

Non-specific items:
-- Surprise me with something youre really into crafting
-- Stuff inspired by my Wists: http://wists.com/quilted

Crafted items:
-- New! Some way to organize my embroidery patterns, and my partially used embroidery transfers from my Sublime Stitching kits. Maybe an accordion file with type of pattern on the tabs
-- New! An organizational system for my postage stamp squares.... I'm envisioning a binder with about 10 clear envelope-pages so I can organize by color
-- New! A Shabbat-to-go kit for saying the blessings on the road it could hold two tea light candles, some matches, pre-packaged saltines, and room for an air-plane sized bottle of wine or Crown Royal or grape juice (please dont include any alcohol! I dont want to get us kicked off Craftster)
-- New! A large hollow book or lockable box, to hold those embarrassing bed-side things that my toddler always seems to find (nothing like seeing my 18-month-old walk out of my room proudly holding my vibrator)
-- Collage artwork with old Psychology images
-- Embroidered or silk screened (or similarly embellished) tea towels or dishtowels (I would especially like ones with the word shmata" its Yiddish for rag).
-- Pretty and Strong singlet style shopping bags
-- Manly clothes for my sons 12 inch baby doll
-- A set of 4 or 6 place mats in a neutral color or navy blue
-- A cool lunch box
-- Things to help me pack good lunches for my new job
-- A funky work-in-progress bag that would fit a medium-sized embroidery hoop

Supplies:
-- New! Plain dishcloths or tea towels to embroider
-- New!  A dremel? I have a bunch of engravable vintage stuff, and I thought it would be funny to learn how to engrave naughty words and rude sayings on it. Like, suck it in really elegant script. Any ideas of how to accomplish this myself?

Extras:
-- 1.5 inch squares of pre-washed quilting fabric for my postage stamp quilt. Please only *one* of each fabric thanks!
-- anything on wheels for the little guy
-- doll accessories for my sons 12 inch baby doll (e.g. doll bottle, bib, etc.?)
-- childrens books or other cool things in Spanish
-- New!  Rubber stamps maybe birdies? Flowers? Elegant is preferred over cutsie, but Ill take them all Smiley

I claim Holliewood for a subversive cross stitch  Grin

This is my fourth claim, 2 sent, 1 received.

Hi there! I'm MandyLikesPie. I'm 26 and I live in Illinois with my hubby and our cat and bunny. We just bought our first house last month and are starting to paint and decorate and basically undo all the 80s-ness from the previous owners. My kitchen is bright yellow with red and green accents, and my bathroom will be decorated in a peach theme. The living room will be brown with sky blue accents, and the bedroom will be slate blue with black and white accents. You'll notice that most of my items include the words "vintage" or "50s." I love anything vintage or vintage-inspired and, even though I work full-time as an editor, I like to pretend I'm a 50s housewife at the end of the day. I love old-fashioned prints like gingham and polkadots, and trims like rickrack and pom poms. My Craftster profile is full of likes and dislikes, so hopefully that will be helpful.
