this one began as a stripwork apron top (tute here for the interested: http://indietutes.blogspot.com/2008/06/stripwork-apron-top.html
but ended up becoming a full A-line top with adjustable straps that tie in the back.

I adore this tie up  Smiley

I also love the embellished broadcloth that I've been using forever... I have about 1/16 of a meter left that I'm hoarding still  Cheesy

(sorry it couldn't be a better pic, it's the best close up I have for now)

Comments and questions are welcome as always  Smiley

I love your work!  You're amazing.  Whenever I see the thumbnails of your little cutie I just have to click them to see the big pictures and I don't even have little girl to sew for.  Great work and thanks for sharing the how tos!

I LOVE the top! Great work! but just have to smile at that list pic -- she looks just like my little girl when I've taken one too many pics. "You can stop any time, now, Mom." :-) What a doll!

this is so cute and it looks like the straps are adjustable enough to make it fit forever.

i too like that the back is closed here. for me anyway. think this would be as cute on someone with breasts as it is on a kid?
