This is my latest that I finished while on vacation.  I think I'll name her Shelly.  She is a hybrid doll I guess you could say.  I didn't use the Poppet pattern, instead I modified this pattern:
I changed the face and the method of making the head etc.  And I changed the body shape and the hands, legs and arms.  So maybe I didn't follow it that closely now that I am thinking about it.  But it was the inspiration Cheesy
I wanted a flat face i could embroider facial features on easily.  Once I did embroider her eyes, I didn't like them so I added buttons on top and I really like the way they turned out. 
I chose 3 different fabrics for her body, and wanted her legs to look like she was wearing striped stockings/tights.
I used the easy peasy dress pattern (LOVE THAT ONE!!!!)  and she has button jointed limbs, I love doing the button joint!!!
Anyway, enough blabbing, here she is:

PS  Her flipflops are from Mike's, I changed the strap and added a flower embellishment
