Super-Fun Candy Corn Quilt!

It's been a loooooooong time since I posted anything. Way too long. And it's been a while since I got a chance to look at what everyone's been up to. I am so impressed with everyone's projects!!
I couldn't decide whether to put this in the Halloween board or over here in quilting. I decided since it's not really a costume or party idea, it'd be best in quilting since, well, it's a quilt. I got the original idea from a project in Quilts and More from about 2 years ago. I just modified theirs a little bit 'cause I wanted to stick with a b/w and orange all over theme (theirs was kind of an explosion of colors)...Anyway, I thought it'd be a quick, cute little wall hanging to make for Halloween and what'dya know? It was! It's only about 36"x36", so perfect to put up for the holidays...Hope you like it!




I'm really happy with the goofy spider fabric I found...

Great choices!  (Fabric and pattern.) Everything goes together so well.  That is just one of the things I find intimidating about quilting

I've been thinking about quilting for at least 25 years - and still only had the nerve to do a yo-yo quilt. 

One of these days though. . .

Is that a satin stitch around the candy corns?  It looks so perfect.
