Woohoot!  I finished my North Carolina blocks this weekend.  I also have my fabric for Alabama and I am going to start cutting it out tonight.  Cutting is taking me forever...i don't know why it feels that way.  I think I am a slow cutter/sewer.

I figured out a good system for cutting and its been working. I usually hate cutting. But, now I hate the sewing. I was at a real LAZY moment and thought if anyone would care if I sent them the pieces and they could sew them themselves. HAHA! Im not going to do that really. I was just so yuck on sewing that day. I have mostly everything cut in baggies. Im trying to finish up a swap due next week and then im going to do nothing but blocks till they are done!

Anyone wanna help a good cause and buy a sonography class cookbook so I can go to a seminar in September? They are $15 alone, and $20 with handmade potholders. PM me!

Would anyone object to be adding a month to the sendout time? I unexpectedly got accepted into a sonography program (YAY!) and its going to be alot of work. I planned this swap with the idea I wasnt going to have much to do.

Wow, I would LOVE an extra month.  I mean, people could always still send early if they are finished...they would have to wait longer to receive some of their blocks, of course, but I personally would not mind.

I'll also speak on mcbenno's behalf here since she is out of town this weekend - I don't think she would mind either.  She's the manager of a retail store and the next couple of months we've got a big sale and an inventory coming.  With the holiday season approaching, there is a lot of other stuff going on in the store, so I highly doubt she would object.  I can't be certain, but I know she hasn't started on her blocks yet, so I don't think she'd mind (she can come correct me if I'm wrong, though!)...

At any rate, you probably won't be hearing from her this weekend (unless she took her laptop to the beach and gets Wi-Fi there)...

Actually I just left her a message on her cell, so maybe we will hear back from her today.  Smiley

Okay, just got off the phone with mcbenno, who is totally fine with having the send-out date pushed back.

3 votes for Yes, I guess.  Smiley
