Hey hun. There's a repair shop Yonge and Eglinton near Sew Be It studio. I haven't gone there myself, but the instructors at the studio take their machines to him. Good luck!

There is an  man who does sewing machine repairs at Bellwoods Ave and Queen (south side of Queen, right beside the seven eleven). He was fairly cheap. I paid $30 for my machine to be serviced and repaired plus a couple of metal bobbins. I had a positive experience with him.   He repaired the plastic piece which holds the bobbin in place, aligned the gears and oiled all the working parts. My machine is still in excellent working order a year later.
Here is a link to a forum which talks about places in Toronto for sewing repair:

if you're willing to viva up to Newmarket, take the 55B to eglin, there's a sewing machine repair shop right beside evelyns. They have repaired one of my machines a couple times.
