I love these pants!
I made these pants to wear now that the weather has finally decided to feel like summer.  They were perfect for running around all day taking photos, so I tried out the freezer paper stencil technique I learned here on craftster to add a simple camera stencil to the leg.  You can tie them two different ways, either with the back side on top or the front side on top, so versatile!

A friend of mine liked them so much he requested a pair made for him.  I might be able to get him to pose for a few pictures of his, but for now, here are mine:

Here's the stencil of the camera.  I really liked the freezer paper stencil technique, it was really easy!

You can take a look at my blog if you'd like to see more photos and details about these pants.

I really like the look of these, and the stencil adds just the right touch.  I read on your blog that you didn't have any problem with exposing too much skin.  I was always worried that would happen too, but since you didn't have a problem with it, I may just give it a try!  Thanks Smiley

Very cute!

OMG thank you for posting the "how to put on" pictures!!!!  I've looked at the tut SO many times and everyone has given them rave reviews, but for the life of me I have NOT been able to figure out how they work.  I may actually have to wear a pair now.   Grin  I also just got freezer paper at the store this week, so there's another project in my near future.

Yours are great!

I always have liked the idea of wrap pants but usually they don't look so flattering. These are so nice as they sit low on the hip, and are super wide. Did you use a pattern / tute? or could we see maybe a pic of them layed flat out to get the general idea of how they are constructed?

Also looooooove the camera stencil!!!

*EDIT* oooooooh! I've worked it out, gets giddy Smiley I don't think mine will end up as lovely and wide, as I have a stupid tiny waist (23.5 inches) and I guess that pretty much determines how wide the pants will be. Oh well I just have to go and get some material now and make some.
