My friends and I threw a birthday hula party. We used my friends EMPTY apartment and brought all kinds of decorations to re-do it specially for the party. IF YOUR INTERESTED IN THE FOOD - see the food section for my separate post!!
Here is a corner of the main room. NOTICE the homemade beach!! We put sand on a tarp, and seashells, we put a fishing net on the wall with little creatures and starfish, and christmas lights. Notice the "bonfire" in the middle of the room. Colored tissue paper, lights inside and a fan made it look more realistic in the dark. Pic doesn't do it justice.

And a cozy sitting nook on the other side of the room, pillows for people to sit on. They also brought their own beach towels.

The whole room

The gifts, there were 3 gals having a birthday

My friend brooke is so crafty with scrapbooking. She made this for the wall

Our drink table - we made smoothies and virgin dacquiris and pina coladas

Our food table - hawaiian haystacks, fruit flower arrangement, kabobs, and hawaiian pineapple/coconut cake

Entryway table with party favors:

On one wall and into the kitchen:

OOPS this one is upside down, don't know how to fix it. But it's one of the windows.

LAST ONE I promise! ANother pic of the food, it was so yummie! Don't forget to check out the directions in the food section!
