Okay, so not strictly for everyone, but I am sure those who sell their jewellery are always looking forsomewhere to store it, at least I know I am. I've wanted one of those grids for a while now, the retail hooks, because that would be easier to find than rummaging around in a box everytime i needed to send something off. Not having £50/$100 ++ to spend on something like this, I made my own. Smiley With pegs instead of hooks.

The pegs cost me about £2 for 100, the wood nothing since I had it, the fabric I already had, the cardboard and sponge backing I had, so this cost me next to nothing really!

Onto the pics:

It hangs up on my wall, I took a picture of it downstairs as opposed to my room as I was packaging items all day(I had a lot to catch up on) and it was easier to peg them to it as I went. Smiley

I had poked a hole in my canvas while I was shifting my furniture around in my room( I change it every few months as I get bored easily!) and thought about what I could use the frame for. I Put slats of wood and nailed them across for strength, and them glued a big sheet of card board across so if I pressed on the pegs, it wouldn't just be fabric behind, making it hard, then a layer of foam, and then using the original tacks from the canvas hammered in the fabric, making it as taut as I could. I used a thick stripy cotton, which you can't really see because of all the packages! Tongue

Tutorial, as requested. Sorry it's a bit crappy. if you have any questions feel free to ask me.

Besides beign very organized this is also eye-catching- begging a customer to come see what you have. Also very festive with all the  labels and clolorful beads.Good thinking!
