I know that all the quests at my Masquerade Wedding will not be in costume.  So our favors are going to be fake moustaches, animal noses, etc.  And the centerpieces will be bouquets of masks.  Here's a link to the four I've made so far.

First I made a mold of the mask with clay and a plastic mask.  The I use two layers of heavy weight scrap booking paper to paper mache over the mold.  I soak it and just lay the paper over the mold and form it there.

I'm excited to try the venetian cat style next!
(Ok, I think I got the pics working now)

Thanks everybody!

So, I have about 50 masks made, and about half are on their sticks.  I'm trying them in a vase, and maybe I'll put some sticks or flowers in, too.  That way they'll look a little prettier and the vases won't be empty when people take the masks.

I tried two new shapes, the kitty and the swooshy kind which I like a lot more than the original ones.
