I made it! I got the pattern in the mail yesterday, and I didn't stop knitting until it was done. It is really creepy, but too funny. I want to put it on and shovel the sidewalk! I used some heavy worsted weight acrylic on US 8 needles so I wouldn't have to do the math to upsize it from a child's size. I also gave her red hair instead of the blond, and went with pigtails. I hope you can sleep after seeing it. Sorry for pic quality, but it's so hard to take a pic of yourself by yourself.

It's so funny/creepy that you actually made this. I was thinking of trying to find this pattern myself. because, well, see for yourself. http://www.craigslist.org/about/best/chi/54508796.html

ARGH!!!
That is incredibly scary.
Are you ACTUALLY going to wear that skiing, or just put it on to scare young children?

LOL - I can't believe it....hahahahaha

Someone e-mailed me that craigs list link, and I was convinced that he was a lazy serial killer - trying to get creepy headgear and his first victim at the same time...

Nice Job though!  It came out well....and uh, creepy.

Oh my god, I think I'd be exiled from my neighborhood if I wore that out to shovel my driveway... I LOVE it! Now you need to get someone to take photos of you wearing it out in public. Seriously. Capture reactions of passersby. I challenge you!!

Great job on this. It's very disturbing -- you captured its essence beautifully.

EEEEEEK!

You're my hero for having the guts to wear this outside of the house!  Your neighbors must be in awe of you...
