mikaiyawa i'm so glad you liked your stuff... i was afraid it wouldn't be your style and i was going to be heartbroken basically because i loved the purse when i finished it... i used a tutorial i found on here called vintage tote or something but mine came out totally different and i loved it, so i made one for myself after! hopefully you can put that book to good use, there are some amazing knots in it, i just don't have the desire to learn it...

everyone's stuff looks so good! i can't wait to see my goodies in my fave colors!!!

Don't say you don't have enough time. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Keller, Pasteur, Michaelangelo, Mother Teresa, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson, and Albert Einstein.

WOW WOW WOW WOW.
My Mum and Dad woke me up at 7.30 saying "You have a package!" and I was like "Huh? Where am I?" and I was like "Kay... I'll open it in a minute" and then they both burst in with "OPEN IT NOW, OPEN IT NOW" sometimes I wonder who the parent is.

In other news ... MY PACKAGE IS HERE! - in a HUGE box. It's the biggest package I've ever had.

Photoness:

I opened the box to see ... GREEN! ...

I opened some more ...

A HAND EMBROIDERED HELLO KITTY CUSHION WITH AMAZING LIME GREEN FABRIC (& daisies!)

Detail:

At home with my vintage floral sheets :] (I'm an odd little cookie) ...

I'd have been thrilled with just the cushion, seriously.

& then I find ...

The coolest mirror, ever! even My Mum was like "That's amazing! Can I have it?!" Er... no.

Wait. There's more.

A CROCHETED BAG. Which is SO cute. I'm taking this on holiday/vacation with me. It's so pretty. (My Mum wanted to steal this, too.)

Detail:

(lining)

NOW ... I completely adore vintage/retro/thrifted things (and in Kookaloo's (gorgeous) notecard she said that she wouldn't be offended if I didn't like -it- and wanted to pass it on ... for the record, I think I may have squealed when I saw it. But that's just between you and me.)

A VINTAGE STUFFED TOY CRAFT BOOK (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
I've found a new collecting hobby, for sure.

It's so amazing

Book:

Inside picture pages:

AND, there's something else!
A holo..homo..hola..g raphic journal! Kookaloo informed me that this was her first ever time at making a journal, and that it is "far from perfect" for shame, Kookaloo, I think it's fantastic. It even has green pages! I'm going to use it this summer, as I'm going on lots of outings and holidays, to put my postcards/photos/ticket stubs in there, like a little memory book. I was looking for one, but couldn't find one anywhere, and now I have one!

Thank You, Thank You Kookaloo_Starr, you are an amazing partner/crafter  Grin

The Hello Kitty embroidery is soo cute.  I love the purse!  It's the type of thing I hunt for because I can't knit or crochet lol.   Great run with the green theme  Grin

MY PACKAGE IS HERE! - in a HUGE box.

That box is a well traveled box  Wink It came to me from Germany and I sent it off to Scotland, it came back to me from Scotland and now you have it  Grin That's why there was as much packing tape as there was box  Cheesy I like to reuse where possible....thrifty as well as crafty!
