REALLY CHEAP op shops.

so recently, I've been itching to do some recon clothes from older, uglier things to prettier, cutie cutie stuff i may actually wear, however, having just moved and throwing out tonnes of my own old clothes (which i'm now kicking myself for) i would like to know if there are any really really cheap places to get articles of clothing, they don't have to be brilliant items since they are going to be cut up anyway.

anyone one know of any places?

I think the Salvation Army shops are usually pretty good. In Christchurch we have Savemart, which is like an op shop warehouse - heaps of stuff and good prices.

I'm interested to know what other good second hand shops there are in Auckland as well - I live in Chch but spend the odd weekend in the 09.

I remember a few years ago, when i used to live in hamilton, the odd church used to have garage sale days where they have $1 fill a plastic bag with clothes.

i miss those days...
