I'm brand new to embroidery, but you've done a fantastic job.  I'm curious though, is the wax paper stabilizer for a stretchy fabric?  How did you use it?

Thats what im wondering too!

One does not simply walk into Mordor. Its black gates are guarded by more than just orcs. There is evil there that does not sleep. The great eye is ever watchful. It is a barren wasteland, riddled with fire, ash, and dust. The very air you breathe is a poisonous fume.......

Hmmm....someone on here had mentioned something about using wax paper, and then I saw on a blog someone using it.
Basically I used it because the fabric was navy and there was no other way I'd be able to trace onto it.
Other than that, I'm not sure really the purpose of it, but it seemed to work alright for me! The fabric wasn't stretchy at all, and since the wax paper is just pinned (or put through the loop) it doesn't really stabalize it...well, it kind of does.
Sorry that was a really bad explanation Tongue

hey I just stitched this up too! I did mine in orange, purple and yellow with lots of crewel-like 70's flowers and paisley shapes as a wee gift for a friend while I was visiting
