Yep, two cloth napkins!  I saw them at Target today and had to have them.  I couldn't see myself wiping my mouth with them, so my the "bag vision" came to me, ha, ha!

Whatcha' think?

so profesional looking, tell me, the out side is one napkin and the inside is one napkin? or the out side is the napkin and the inside is some fabric you had?

OMG that is so cool! Good vision on how to use those cloth napkins.

Did you cut the napkins into a slight triangle shape or did the shape come from squaring the bottom of the bag?

In any case, be proud of your fab new bag!  Smiley

I ironed them and got them as even as I could, then made sure the pattern lined up (had to cut the edges to make them even), and then lined my ruler 3 inches from each edge at the bottom to the top corner.  That gave it the slight triangle appearance.  Then, I used some of the edges I cut off to make the small straps for the bamboo handle.  Worked out pretty well.  I didn't make the usual pocket on the inside because I only had two napkins, figured that was enough.

Love this bag! I saw those napkins, too, and couldn't picture using them as napkins. This is a great re-use of them - those patterns are too good to waste Smiley
