Ready Made

Two Point Items

String Grocery Bag (2) Made from Fantasy Naturale pattern. Has square garter stitch base. Colour is variagated purple. Tickle me Cookie Monster included for size reference only.

For some reason the colour on this pic is not as true to life.

Temari Ball (2) Very solidly stuffed decorative ball. Hand sewn. Pattern from Omiyage book.

Katamari Ball (2) Pattern from Omiyage Book. Hand and Machine sewn. If you want both matching pieces and don't have enough points, I am happy to hold it for a few days for you.

Quilted bag (1) approx 5.5 inches square and 2 inches deep. Two internal pockets, one pleated one flat. Closes with magnetic snap.

Drawstring bag made from Asian fabric (1)

Cabled Mug Warmer (1) Made from some beautiful hand dyed obtained in this swap which by chance happened to form this cool striping pattern.

Cabled Headband (1)

Made with Mystical creations yarn bought from Avesthal in a previous round. Thick and thin yarn 65% wooll 35% silk. Very hand painted hand spun look. Band is approx 2.5 inches wide by 18 inches long with 6 inch ties on either side. I washed this yarn before using and got only a slight orange tinge in the water overnight. Act quick before dd snaffles this one.

Panta (1) from varigated brown yarn 50% wool  iirc. I used a smaller hook on this one as I thought the first one was a bit large. 16 inches not including the tabs which are approx. 2.25 inches long.

Black Spotted Compact Stitching Case (1)

Barbie Totable Tote - Small (1) 100g

Measures 6 inches wide x 9.5 inches high unfolded and 5.5 x 4 inches when folded

Lining fabric is a different Barbie fabric covered with hearts.

Barbie hostess apron. (1) Base white linen fabric covered with gauzy pink Barbie themed fabric. This lay nice and flat but I had to embroider over the seams due to the nature of the pink gauze and now it curls at the edges. To test it, I washed and ironed it before taking this picture to ensure no fraying. This is adult sized and the waistbag is 17 inches. The ties are approx. 40 inches long. Made from an original 1969 pattern.

"Urchin" Hat (1) Size Medium. 50% wool 50% acrylic. Knit.

Half Point Items

Green Knitting Needle Bracelet (0.5)

Pink Knitting Needle bracelet (0.5)

Chrysanthemum hairtie (1) 100% wool worsted weight over new good quality hair tie.

!calluna’s Shop!
Direct from the Redwoods to you! All items guaranteed to be 100% free of banana-slugs!

--open--
I do not smoke, and neither does my dog....But we're both rather fuzzy!

For 3 points:

Rules of Fight Club sampler -- Needlework sampler (mostly cross-stitch) on oatmeal-colored aida cloth; threads are yellows, blues and purples. I’ve finished darkening in the lettering since taking this picture and will block it and add a bit more to complete the empty areas before sending it.
http://www.craftster.org/pictures/data/500/medium/embr_001.jpg

- custom 2009 page-a-day calendar: you pick the theme(s), paper color and whether you want it bound with glue at the top (like most of the ones in stores) or with a large binder ring or screwpost. Here are a couple I made for people last year: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=97008
http://www.craftster.org/pictures/data/500/thumbs/100_0930.JPG http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=93860
http://www.craftster.org/pictures/data/500/thumbs/100_0806.JPG

For 2 points:

Christmas journal/scrapbook – mixed paper, some recycled/handmade, some a nice pea-green writing paper. About 30 pgs, bound with binder-rings so more pages can be inserted.
http://www.craftster.org/pictures/data/500/75773bookfront.jpg http://www.craftster.org/pictures/data/500/75773insidecover.JPG http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=67144
http://www.craftster.org/pictures/data/500/thumbs/75773middle.JPG

2009 Childfree-By-Choice page-a-day calendar - I made this for jungrrl for the Childfree Swap, and now that it's finished and in my computer I can make another one for you. It took a loooong time to put it together, and if you are happily childfree (or know someone who is) you (or they) will probably enjoy this calendar full of quotes on the subject, including several from Craftster members.  Smiley I can bind it with glue at the top (like most of the ones in stores) or with a large binder ring or screwpost.

recon’d vintage children’s textbook to CD holder, bright - can hold 28 CDs and several liner note booklets. Bright colors, retro children’s theme, has a notepad inside and free space for adding personal embellishments. Manu Chao not included.
http://www.craftster.org/pictures/data/500/100_10731.JPG
Matching recon journal is currently in the works -- it's the Teacher's Edition of the same book.  Smiley

For 1 point:

Journaling prompts in a box - 50+ prompts for journaling, or words for random ATC theme inspiration. I have collected various styles of prompts and printed them all on cardstock, and will stuff as many as will fit into an Altoids tin or little wooden box (your choice), which will be decorated however you like.
Goes great with a journal, incidentally...

“Far East Stories” book recon – concertina bound with tabs of various artist papers, blank off-white nice cardstock pages. The back cover has a small logo that says “Pleasure reading”.
http://www.craftster.org/pictures/data/500/medium/swapshop_013.jpg

custom-made recon’d hardcover book from an old Readers Digest Condensed Book. The one shown is sold, but I have a variety of different cover colors and patterns, and I can do a variety of different bindings. Some of the cover designs I have:
http://www.craftster.org/pictures/data/500/medium/sts034.jpg
They can be matched or mismatched if you prefer. The binding of the one shown is a Japanese album/flutterbook, which is an accordion binding with no open end. Here’s the closed book:
And here it is open:

rust-colored blank book - concertina/accordion binding – the one on the left is still available (thanks to pinkanddinky for buying the other one!). Very thick paper, I think it is Canson Mi Teintes. Covers reclaimed from old Readers Digest Condensed Books.
http://www.craftster.org/pictures/data/500/medium/swapshop_006.jpg

custom-made recon blank book - the ones without photos generally have plain covers, and all can have the covers altered if you like. Choose from these hard-cover titles:
 - "To The Wedding" (brown and black)
 - "The Small Woman" (yellow and red, has chinese lettering on the front)
 - "Romantic Rebel" (very old and worn. grey)
 - "The Complete Book of Sewing" (blue)
 - "Unto A Good Land" (blue-grey, has a small train going across the front)
 - "World Shopping" (I have a few of these; they all have international scenes on them from the 60s or 70s) - "Good Morning, Young Lady" (tan; I'm hoping to make this a fairly cheeky/saucy book)
 - "Madam, Will You Talk?" (yellow)
 - "Ellery Queen - Cat of Many Tails" (blue with an evil-looking black cat on the cover)
 - "Rock & Roll Heaven" (red)
 - 1960s “Do-It Encyclopedia” volume; has a guy in a captain’s hat working on his boat in his yard, with the little wifey helping too in the background.
 - A green book with no writing on it, but stamps of 3 pears are embedded on front
PM me to discuss!

For 1/2 a point:

Barbie pasties! Not pasties for Barbie, pasties for you (or other recipient) with Barbie on them. Technicolor images of vintage Barbies from a 1960s craft magazine, decoupaged on cardstock base, backed with vinyl and sealed to discourage deterioration. Off-white and yellow lace trim on the outer edge, with a bow made from the lace on the bottom of each. Clear iridescent sequins dotted around the outer surface. No tassels on the end and no special emphasis on the nipples...Though, if you have some Barbie shoes, it would be awesome if you made tassels with those! I can't find any, myself.
One condition: I request that you take a picture of them since I can't get a good picture myself right now.

rainbow memory wire bracelet with seed beads for the rainbows (R-O-Y-G-B-P) and wooden or black glass beads between them. It can be as many loops around your wrist as you like. If you don't want the "gay" rainbow, I can add additional colors into the seed bead spectrum.

set of 5 molded crayons from scrap-crayons:
http://www.craftster.org/pictures/data/500/medium/swapshop_007.jpg

Card holder, ATC display or small scrapbook -- slot-and-tab binding, approx 6x12”. Ribbon keeps it all closed and can be easily removed. Some of the pages have pockets for holding things, most do not, but things could be easily mounted on the pages.
http://www.craftster.org/pictures/data/500/medium/swapshop_004.jpg http://www.craftster.org/pictures/data/500/medium/swapshop_003.jpg

Supplies

1 point

book "Recipes for Surfaces: Decorative Paint Finishes Made Simple", by Mindy Drucker and Pierre Finklestein. It's a big one, 255 pages! http://www.amazon.com/Recipes-Surfaces-Decorative-Finishes-Simple/dp/0671682490/ref=sr_11_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1214287833&sr=11-1

grab-bag (errm, box/envelope) of vintage children's books for recon, image cutouts or whatnot, including 2 illustrated reading textbooks, an OLD Donald Duck book, and a 1984 Olympics activity book from McDonalds. I can include a 1980s Garbage Pail Kids sticker/card album if you’d be interested; it’s not everyone’s taste (nor is it mine), so I won’t send it unless you want it.

2 yards of vintage cowboy fabric

Half-a-point items

butterfly mould: 3 butterfly shapes in hard, thin plastic, with wooden supports nailed underneath the mould for support. I tried making wax-tarts with this mould but the shapes are a little too shallow.

classic weird ephemeral goodie: Michael Jackson sheet music book! Includes songs up through his early-'90s "Man in the Mirror" era.  Grin EE-hee!

Set of rolls of color-coded stickers with days of the week, in a few languages. They're in a floppy plastic enclosure that keeps them together.

pack of several old black (regular) and translucent red vinyl records – sturdy, not floppy

large mounted rubber stamp – cat . The outer edge looks like a piece of Christmas tree with a round tree ornament; if you just want an all-seasons cat stamp I’ll happily carve out that Christmassy edge (the stamp is not homemade but that doesn’t mean it can’t be altered!).

Take one of these items for free with your purchase (please request specifically):

- battery-powered christmas tree lights, 10 lamps on the strand. Battery pack requires 2 "C" batteries.

- images/ephemera – give me a theme and some likings and I’ll send you some

- 4-pack of clear bobbins:

- 2 knit sweater arms (100% wool) for felting -- one arm is bright multiple colors and the other has had the color discharged and is now various shades of purple.

- bag of pinecones from redwood trees - They're no bigger than acorns and my yard is covered with them because I live in a redwood belt. I can only send these within the U.S. because of international shipping regulations.

- 100% alpaca yarn scraps from a sweater I unraveled. Several dark colors; pieces are generally 1yd or shorter; I don't know if there's a use for them.

- cloud paint-rollers - no handle or rolling mechanism included.

thank you for shopping!

wishlist: clear sleeves for ATCs, really long striped socks (like elf stockings or Wicked Witch of the East), scrap scarf, handheld spindle, really old photos (originals, not scanned copies), wall-mountable shrine, wheat-free doggie treats, calorimetry, religious kitsch, itty-bitty miniatures (ideally smaller than standard dollhouse miniature size, hence the superfluous "itty-bitty") for placement in shrines, steampunkish hair clips/accessories, things for outdoors and garden.

Open!

I'm in Austin, TX, US.  No smoking but yes to cats and dog. They go everywhere, but I try to keep stuff up.  I have so much stuff to add! Some books, stash items, beads and jewelry! I have to take pics, so check back on the weekend!

1 point items

Earthy Bead Kit. I'm so excited about these! I'm trying to debead my life, so here is a carefully chosen assortment of really cool beads, plus 2 feet of beadalon, 2 sterling crimp beads, and a sterling clasp. You can make something with it! I also think it would make a nice gift. The biggest beads in this set are about an inch long. There's yellow turquoise(the giant green beads, yeah, they're weirdly named), wood, buri nut, freshwater pearls, faceted glass, new jade, jasper, carnelian, aventurine, Swarovski crystals, and amber! 1 pt sold to Phizzychick, thanks!

____________________

Voodoo Bead Kit. Oooh! A lot of faceted glass in black, dark red, true red, and "black diamond" (love these), hematite, carnelian, some little garnets, the long ones are bamboo with hole across the top and are about 1.75 inches long, some little sterling rings that make great spacers and a little ceramic skeleton playing a horn. The beadalon didn't make it into the picture but it's included, as well as the clasp and crimps. 1 pt sold to nosusanfx, thanks!

____________________

Granny hat. I rescued this hat from a thrift store this weekend but I think it's awesome and fully worth one point. It's an orange and brown granny circle slouchy hat! It rules! It's in perfect condition. I feel like a real granny probably made this not knowing just how cool it is and it ended up being donated by a very uncool and unworthy giftee. Probably a mean daughter-in-law who only shops at Neiman Marcus and is really snooty! Freshly laundered, I'm assuming it's acrylic because it lived through the washer and dryer. 1 pt.

____________________

Blue top. Ok, I made this top last year to see if I could do a keyhole neckline. I've only worn it a couple of times. Now I'm a little, ahem, bigger than I was last year and when I wore it recently my 12 year old son said despairingly: "mom, why did you have to knit something so semi-erotic!" And I knew I would never wear it again. It's made from Caron simply soft so you can machine wash it, and supposedly machine dry, but I dry it flat. I'm a 34 bust size and you can see it is quite snug, even though it's very stretchy. Has a little white heart button at the neckline.  1 pt.

____________________

Wristlet. This is a tiny little wrist clutch that I repurposed by adding a beaded bracelet loop and beads to the pocket zipper pulls. It's approx. 8x4 inches and is white faux leather, very soft and supple. I bought it new but never go anywhere that involves a dainty little clutch so it's never been used. The beads are amazonite, olive jade and some sort of quartz. 1 pt.

____________________

Wool crocheted headband. This is fisherman's wool I kool-aid dyed. 1 pt.

____________________

Two Hour Beaded Projects. This is an actual book with both strung and sead bead projects. 1 pt sold to LaughingLark, thanks!

____________________

.5 point items.

Oooh! Big sale! Now these next items are 1/2 pt each! Please add up to one point!

Purple & Green Crocheted Rose Pin. Has a pin back. Is crocheted of purple and green mix cotton. A little less than 3 inches across. My camera really doesn't like purple. .5 pt  (I think the pattern for these came from the Lion Brand website. They were really fun to make.) sold to asphaltqueen, thanks!

____________________

Pastel Mix Crocheted Rose Pin. Has pin back, crocheted of 100% cotton. Cute! Also a little less than 3 inches across. .5 pt

Keychains--all .5 pts each:
Left to right: light purple felt with angry robot embroidery. The back is complimentary flower fabric. 4 inches long
Glass beads, ceramic fairy bead and cool metal bead keychain. 5 inches long.
Faceted new jade, ceramic fairy and cool metal bead keychain. 4.5 inches long.

back of robot kc.

____________________

Fire Mt Bead Booklet + random beads. This was some sort of supplement from Fire Mountain Gems. There are actual projects in it, but it's basically a catalog, i.e. they give you directions to a project and then allow you to purchase all the needed items from them. I'll throw in a dozen Swarovski 4mm crystals to sweeten the deal. .5 pt  sold to asphaltqueen, thanks!

Great for protecting your laptop, especially if you carry yours in your book bag!

Crochet Apples - (.25 each) - Super cute crochet and stuffed apples in red and green. Approx. 2" diameter. Brown stem is a loop so you can hang it (necklace, zipper pull, cell phones, ornaments..) Green apples do not have leaves. Will look great as holiday decorations/ornaments.

Polymer Clay Charms (.25 each) - made from poly clay, painted and varnished.
Ghost, Bumble Bee, Mushrooms, and Pumpkin Charm (blue bear sold out)

Quilted Pouch - (.25) - Machine sewn with zipper closure. Made out of a quilted fabric, brown on outside and light blue on inside. No lining. Great for makeup or loose items in your purse.

Crochet case - (.5) - Perfect size for small cameras and other electronics. Brown and blue.

Cherry blossoms domino pendant - (.5) - Received in swap but never wore. It's really pretty. Comes with pink ribbon.

Crochet grannie square, Carebear cross stitch, 4 metal cat charms, stretchy I <3 tea bracelet - (.25 each)

Blue Earrings - (.5) - sky blue colored beads. (They two are exactly the same even though in the picture it doesn't look like it.)

Supplies:

Drop Spindle - (2 pt each) - blue one is all wood while the right one is handmade by a fellow craftster out of a CD and dowel. Both work great. Two points each because I have to ship them in a box.

Pink Photo Album - (.75) - New in package. Says "cherish" on cover. Cover is a soft velour type fabric. Inside pages are black. Holds 60 - 4x6" photos.

Christmas foam - (.5) sticky back, great for Christmas cards or crafts with kids. You will get a whole bucket full of all the shapes shown.

Precious Moments Cross stitch - (.25) - I started it but couldn't go on. Comes with needle, thread, mesh and pattern. Measures ~3-4" in diameter.

One FREE with purchase. Please indicate choice when claiming.

Tiny notepads - 20 sheets sewn into cardstock bottom. Measures 2.75 x 4.5".

Padded Envelope - Measures 4.5 x 6" total but will fit up to 5" in length if flat. Lined with bubble wrap. Great for mailing small items like earrings.
