Little fairy hand carved stamp

I've really been growing as a stamp carver and it's finally starting to show. I think I need to invest in a magnifier soon though because my eyes are starting to feel the affects! I carved this little fairy from an image drawn by Elizabeth O. Dulemba (I really like her artwork) out of Grade A PZKut with a Staedtler #1 gouge and a Speedball #5 gouge. I need to start dabbling in needle carving though because I'm starting to outgrow my carving tools. Anyway, enough talk, onto the stamp!

I hit This Rocks right away.  This is amazing.  I love her too.  I don't carve, but I can tell this took TALENT and patiences.  I know what you mean about your eyes feeling it though...my FIL is an optician and has been warning me about my small work...

I keep coming back to admire this! It is definitely the most fabulous hand-carved stamp I have ever seen. It's so cleanly carved, I am in awe! And, when I think about how small it is, I'm just blown away...

I don't usually gush like this over projects, but if I could hit This Rocks a hundred times, I totally would!

really beautiful detail.. i've tried my hand at carving a few times and i always have a "slip" and mess up something and end up having to alter the design (just not patient enough to go slower, most likely)..
