i'm not sure. i read it in this thread, i think.

i just put a couple layers (about 2. just so it's thick-ish) of the glue on, and let it dry completely. and then peel it off. it worked REALLY good when i used it.

okay, so i have a question. what type of deep conditioner do you use on your hair? i sometimes used the VO5 hot oil, but i dont think it really did anything for me.

I use Equess brand horse conditioner. I use it as a normal conditioner about twice a week and then once a month I leave it on over night. It makes your hair stronger, shinier, and repairs split ends. Amazing stuff, really. I buy it from my local tack shop but I think you can find it online too. It's  pricey but one bottle lasts a long long time. I think it's about $25 a bottle.

thanks, ill be sure to look it up.  Smiley

right now i have VO5 Total Hair Recovery on....ill update everyone on what happens. it smells really nice.  Cheesy Its not that i have damaged hair, i just have coarser, somewhat dryer hair because its curly. but its always been healthy. lately though, ive been using an iron to fix up my bangs in the morning, and a few pieces seem a bit dry. i got my hair trimmed this weekend, so im hoping the conditioner will take really well because of that.

Does anyone have any ideas for really, and I mean really, curly hair?

I have a friend that has very, very curly hair.  She goes to a hairdresser that specializes in curly hair.  She also doesn't use shampoo very ofter, but conditions every day.  Shampooing removes the natural oils and most curly haired gals need the oil to prevent the frizzies.  It takes longer for the natural oils to travel down the curly hair than straight.

She also only combs her hair in the shower when wet, then blots with a towel adds some styling product and doesn't touch it after that.  Any more combing and she'd have a big knotty mess!

hmm, update on the VO5. it didnt work AS good as I thought it would. i mean, i notice a difference but its not an amazing difference. it did make my hair nice and shiny though. also, if you have longer hair, you might want to buy two boxes, the container is pretty small.

now what can i craft up with this cute little container...... Wink

Well, I just read every post in this thread. I was originally going to say... Whenever I take a shower and shampoo my hair it gets all matted. And when I say matted, I mean really matted. It all turns into big chunks of hair. Impossible to pull apart. I end up having to drench my head in conditioner to make it soft and not so tangly. Should I just stop shampooing my hair all together? I know you're not supposed to shampoo your hair every day, so maybe I should just forget about doing it. The conditioner cleans your hair anyway, right?

what type of shampoo are you using?

you mean it is matter while youre hair is wet in the shower? i think that happens to everyone. especially if you gather your hair on top of your head while you shampoo, which you arent supposed to do. as long as you put in conditioner, and your hair is healthy once its dry, you should be fine.

unless im still not understanding?
