Hey those are cool! I actually have those exact knitting needles. They're not too bad to knit with... but what do I know? I've only knitted one scarf with them.  Undecided I don't think I'll be melting mine any time soon, but these are indeed a cool idea!  Cheesy

Oh wow!  I'm a hot new topic.  I have lived for this day!  OK, instructions - I heated the oven to 200 degrees, stuck the needles on a baking tray, and heated them for about five minutes.  Then, to save my fingers, I had the ingenious idea of putting rubber gloves on (they were sitting next to the sink, and I had a lightbulb moment).   Take em out of the oven and then bend them.  I didn't bend them around anything, just end to tip, as they're quite short.  There is a bit of a nasty smell, but nothing too bad.  I'm paying a visit to Poundland tomorrow and could pick up some more packs.  PM me if you're interested.

Absolute genius! I feel a trip to poundland is in order...but then, I don't really need an excuse to go to poundland, I love cheap, tacky crap!
We should start a facebook group for Craftster Brits or something, not for showing off the crafting, but just for socialising. Hope I'm not breaking any rules by suggesting that!

P.s. I hit this rocks!
