sooooo....i received my first sewing related injury today.  i stabbed myself with a knitting needle.  it was my bad, using a knitting needle to turn my tie right side out and it slipped and stabbed thru my pants into my leg.  it hurt but i don't think i will come out of it with any permanent scars Grin

it's pretty much a standard halter top.  i left an opening on the bottom also and threaded a long tube of fabric thru to make a bow on the hip.  the material i found at a church thrift store for 25 cents.

the top tie (the dangerous one):

the side w/ cute bow:

That is really cute.

When I read your story, I thought I misread it when  it said sewing related injury came from a knitting needle. lol. had to read that one twice. Hope your leg is doing ok.

At least you weren't using a pair of scissors to turn the ties like I do....

I like that fabric... church rummage sales and thrift stores are awesome.

Aww, that's awful. You must have been pushing really hard to stab a knitting needle into you! Feel better! The top is adorable! I love the band at the bottom.
