So this jean skirt was an old pair of my husband's jeans.  They were a bit too big, so I ripped out the inseam seam and took about 2 inches out.  I resewed the belt loop back on and sewed up the front.  I cut out a heart and interfaced it and sewed that on the front.  I added a piece of black lace to the back.  I did a bit of embroidery on the front, and a squiggle embroidery stitch for the new hem.  It fits me really good.  I am pleased with it.
