Bazaar Bizarre Accepting Applications for San Francisco and Maker Faire Austin Show.

About Bazaar Bizarre Maker Faire Austin, Texas
Saturday October 18th & Sunday October 19th

This Bazaar Bizarre event is happening as a part of Make Magazine and Craftzine Maker Faire Austin 2008. Maker Faire's mission is to inspire, inform, connect, and entertain thousands of Makers and aspiring Makers of all ages and backgrounds by showing how much fun it is to make things. The entire event takes place at the Travis County Event Center Fairgrounds. Last year's event drew over 20,000 attendees! Maker Faire projects around 35,000 people in attendance for Maker Faire Austin in October! This is a great event to get your products seen by a diversity of people. Bazaar Bizarre Maker Faire Austin Deadline
Applications are being accepted from July 12th to August 1st 2008. You will be notified as to whether or not you are accepted by August 5th 2008.

Completely forgot about this, but my son, who lives in Austin, called after attending and was SO jazzed about it, he told me I should apply for next year!!

His favorite part was the fighting robots, something about a flamethrower and some kind of scorpion wrecking ball kind of thing...now my husband wants to go, too!!!
