it's like a curse!

But, despite the ugly pattern, this is the first (wearable) dress that I've complete and I can't help but be a little proud of it.

SO awesome I love the pattern and the style of dress. I see dresses like this all over the place and really want to learn how to make one. You did such a great job. Thanks for sharing.

I think the fabric suits the style very well. It moves with the drape I guess. Not ugly at all.

I hate to say that you are wrong BUT, you are wrong.  My mom says that the ugliest fabric makes for the best apparel.  We're not sure why it works like that, but you'll find it to be true.  Cute fabrics look good on the bolt but when you drape them, they lose something.  Keep on keepin' on with that GOOD fashion sense.  You'd make my mom proud, proud I tell ya!
