Ok, I've seen a gal carrying a bag to the gym, and she said she got it from Old Navy.  It's almost banana or hammock shaped, and has a zipper running the 18-24 inch length of the bag.  There's one wide strap for carrying over the shoulder.

Before I go drafting a pattern of my own, I thought I'd see if any of you all could help me out finding one!

I bet you could just cut the fabric differently to eliminate the middle seam.  I've made similar bags to this before.  Smiley

The strap is definately what I"m after.  But the body of it is not quite the same as what I saw.  Very close though.
