YOU DID IT!

It looks incredible. I loved the swallows but I must say this is quite awesome! Great job. I love all the little details.

thanks!

melyssa_marie: the trick here is to do a very dark coat of stain, sand down a bit, and restain with a lighter color. It gives lots of depth to the grain. unfortunately, I don't have any other pictures of the middle part!

Sprocket : a rockabilly ukulele!!! what an awesome idea! I hope it doesn't bother you if I steal it and make one?  Grin

Very nice!  If you were to tell me what you were doing before hand, I would have thought it was going to come out bad.  I LOVE this guitar!

No question, top 5 all time favorite guitar remakes!

I am always open to personal swaps...I'm always on the lookout for new bags, shawls, punk/steampunk accessories, Altoids tins, etc. As a professional illustrator/fine artist, I can offer something crafty, or something more artsy. Let's talk!

This looks totally awesome. I love the way the wood looks all sanded back and the painting is really cool. Especially for freehand. I wish my partner would let me do something like this to his les paul but I really don't feel like getting murdered in a horrible horrible fashion so I probably shouldn't. Haha.

By the way does your les paul weigh a freakin' tonne? I can't play my partners becuase my back starts to hurt too quickly. I usually just use his kramer cause it's nice and light.
