Grin It's made of 100% salvaged fabric and hardware, and- oh yeah -it's SUPER BIG! My favorite part is the straps for my yoga mat, because I'm always carrying yoga stuff, towels, clothes, books and magazines in my bag, so there's never any room for a yoga mat. Problem solved!

Thanks for looking!

That is so clever to include straps on the bottom. I never would have thought of that.

Great solution for the yoga mat problem, and the straps are not only useful, they also give it some kind of a cool, detailed style thing... sorry i don't really have a word for it. anyway, this rocks!

Great bag!  I love the combination of colors and textures of the fabrics.  I love Atlas Shrugged, too Smiley

Atlas Shrugged is my husbands favorite book. I really like your bag too, I have been thinking about making a yoga bag, and got a pattern. But I haven't found the right fabric yet.

 Grin thanks everybody!

The bag  design was totally improvisational, as I'm sure you can tell. No pattern, no pins. It is comprised entirely of thrift store fabrics: the khaki-colored embroidered fabric was about three yards of some kind of thin cottony material, and the green was some kind of slip cover or fitted sheet, made of this really soft sturdy khaki. It had the belt-like straps on the underside, which I didn't really think too much of until I got home. My boyfriend saw them and suggested I make belts at the bottom of the bag for my mat. He's so creative!

Anyway, It's great to see so many Ayn Rand fans here! (Though I must say, I am personally rather partial to The Fountainhead; Atlas Shrugged was just the fattest book I had for with which to display the awesome enormity of my happy yoga bag!  Roll Eyes ) I should start an Objectivist Swap one of these days...  Roll Eyes

Great bag. Love the addition on the bottom for the yoga mat.

BIG Rand fan here. Wink I, too, preferred The Fountainhead. Atlas Shrugged was insanely overblown, I couldn't keep track of all the characters, lol.

Ha! Thanks!  Roll Eyes I just got my nails did. By which, of course, I mean I did them myself. I'm a do-it-yourselfer.  Grin
