Here is my second sewing project ever...I made this yesterday.

Let me know what you think! I wish I had caught the sewing bug years ago...I would have gone to school for fashion design instead of Social Psychology. Grin

Miss Kiss,

You are right..it was bold. I decided to be brave and just go for it. I've had my machine for about 2-3 years and I'm just now using it. I no longer wanted to be intimidated.

Thanks for looking and for sharing your comments.

It is impressive for your second project!  I wouldn't probably have started with something like this...good for you!!  Can't wait to see what else you come up with!  The fabrics are absolutely adorable and the construction great.  How did you put it together, if you don't mind sharing??

I totally know what you mean!!!  I went to school for teaching - I always wanted to be a teacher.  But now that I'm a SAHM, and have caught the sewing bug, I wish had gotten into fashion design or even textile design.  Oh well.  At least I enjoy it.  I have a friend who loved sewing, got into fashion design, and she doesn't really like sewing any more. Sad
At least we get to sew cool stuff purely because we love it.

AND Smiley

your bag is super cute!  I love the fabrics!  Great choices.
