Okay so were going to missouri in two and a half weeks.My aunt has like 5 or 6 horses.I want to be able to make her a lead rope or two she can use.Any help?

Most of the ones I've come in contact with were leather or really super heavy duty rope. A leather one would be easier to do as you can buy 'blanks' and finish & decorate it yourself any way you choose. Be forewarned, the hardware isn't cheap! Good steel swivel clips can run $8- 12 each the leather strapping might be as much as $20-30. That said, that is a really cool gift Smiley

I decorated a saddle pad for my SIL several years ago and she was exstatic over it, custom horse equipment is mighty pricey.

Yea,I was gonna make her a latch hook,but then I thought it wouldnt be done in time.

Does anybody know were I can get the materials online for a leather one?

We have a halter made of rope like this one.. it is red.. They do not all have to be made of leather... Thanks for  the link.. I would love to make some of these for my friends that have horses.. Linda P
