It's funny how I once again started thinking "clapotis", and like the day after thinking it, I see that this thread has woken up again

Small WIP pic, poor cell phone quality really but still decent enough that I wanted to share



Smallish one, five "bars" across. We'll see how long it gets

At first I was hesitant about the colors, but now they're feeling nicely autumny I was going to give it to my mom for her birthday, but her birthday is WAY too late in the year, so now I'm thinking I have to give it to her for the feast of harvest on Öland in the end of september

(btw, that weird spacy look in the middle of the corner is because I dropped some stitches early on to show a colleague what the final effect would be)

Another update The quality gets worse and worse the further from the object I stand, but I promise to use a proper camera once it's done, instead of the cell phone



Due to it's size (and since real world has better resolution than my cell phone), the color impression is a lot more nice and gradient than in this pic, where the lines of color are showing up a bit sharper.

-edit- yikes, I just saw how weirdly saturated it is... but oh well, there WILL be better pics when I'm done..

Finished, and just got properly modeled pics of my mom wearing it She loves it and was willing to model, she just gets this face expression when she knows a camera is aimed at her, hehe

Hi! I started knitting this about a week ago and enjoying it very much. I'm almost done increasing. ' m using a sock weight yarn and I'm going to make it skinnier and longer than the pattern.

But I am wondering about something...

I think, every now and then, I may be forgetting to ktbl sometimes. Will that effect the final outcome of this? Regardless, I am not going to fix any of them because I can't tell which ones I forgot to ktbl and because I am a lazy knitter.

I hope it turns out okay. We'll see!
