These look great! zzjulia- what kind of yarn is that?  It's lovely!  I finished mine a few days ago.  It was such a cool pattern.  I think I'll probably start another one soon...

Lizza - I'm using artyarns supermerino.  Your red looks so wonderful!  I have ordered some solid color yarn to make yet another one Smiley

OK!  This is the only presentable photo that I've been able to take today.  I blocked it on a line of towels today and now the corners aren't as eager to curl up as they used to be.  Wink

It's so fluid and it looks like I drew a hot pink DNA helix across it, with dropped-stitch nucleotides.   Grin

Okay, I feel dumb. Very dumb.

I'm starting Clapotis.  Row 1, I get.

Row 2... I have two stitches on my needle.  Row 2 wants me to play with 3, if I'm reading it correctly.  There's no instruction to m1, so I am VERY confused.  Any insight?

theunblonde: pfb means purl in the front and back of the stitch, so there is an increase. At the end of Row 1 you should have 3 stitches on the needle. Here's a how-to if you need one:

xntrick: that turned out amazing with the colors!

Thanks, lizzaboogle and Horse Power!  It made its public debut this morning, with my maroon T-shirt and similarly colorful Booga Bag.  I've never felt so color coordinated in my life, and you'd think it'd be challenging to coordinate with those particular Clapotis colors! Grin

tucanchild--

Just remember that you ktbl one stitch before the marker and two stitches after.  That helped me a lot--it was driving me nuts before I figured that one out!   Smiley

I think knitting is bringing out my OCD tendencies.  Yesterday I decided that the half-clap was exactly the wrong width.

Too wide for a scarf, to skinny for a shawl.

So, I frogged it and am now a foot into a "skinny clap" scarf.  Will post soon.
