This is my fall Clapotis, and I loved doing it.  It took 7 balls of Noro Silk Garden 201 on size 8 Lantern Moon bamboo circular needles.  I frogged halfway through, "cleaned up my act" and got serious with paying attention to the pattern, and the result is terrific!  I'm not blocking because I love the way it curls up around me.  I wore it to dinner in Manhattan down in Soho last week and got looks (maybe "Where DID she buy that gorgeous stole?" LOL)

Absolutely gorgeous!!  Shocked I love the colors and they are perfect for Fall.  I betcha those New Yorkers are going to be looking at Saks 5th Avenue to buy one of those beauties and you can say "HA" it's a Donna original!

Congrats

Sorry I've been gone so long. Am trying to get back on the boards. Body's thrown me for a few loops these past months and am still learning to adjust. Thanks for your patience.

Ok kids...I'm thinking about making a clapotis in Paton's SWS colorway Natural Pink.

http://www.patonsyarns.com/product.php?LGC=sws

I'll change from the US 8 to probably a 9 or 10...depending on how my swatches look.  I love love love this yarn, it's so soft and wonderful...ooooh.  Anyways, I'm casting on in about 1 hour.  I'M SO EXCITED!  Cheesy

And beautiful work everyone.  I've been drooling over your wonderful clapoti(Huh haha!) for about 20 minutes.  So pretty and talented!

Awesome, just freaking AWESOME!!
I have printed out this pattern and can't wait to try it once I'm done with this Cameo Faggot Stitch Scarf I'm 75% done with.
Also thanks for stating how much yarn you ended up using.
I was thinking Noro yarn too and now I know how much to get.
AWESOME JOB again!   Grin
