If we're all thinking outside the box, doesn't that just put us in a bigger box?

Thanks for the help...

but in the middle of the two markers or the middle of all the stitches? There are 17 total on the needle, and 12 between the markers, so it seems like between the markers makes sense, but it just want to be sure!

On your next knit row, it will say Ktbl, K1, Ktbl at some point. Stick in the marker after the first Ktbl - so it'll go Ktbl marker K1 Ktbl.

good luck!

Oh thanks for clarifying. I didn't use markers so couldn't say whether it should go before or after the the first ktbl, and didn't have time to look up the pattern.

I found it a billion times easier to just purl that one lonely stitch in between the knit through back  stitches rather than using a bunch of markers.

Here's my finished clapotis.  I want to wash it out before gifting it to make sure it opens up nicely.

Done.

It is done using Linie 88 Feeling. I really like the way it turned out.  I hope my Mom likes it, since it's her Mother's day gift.

The only place I have seen it since is online.  There are a few German auction and yarn sites that carry a few balls of it.  If you, or someone you know, can read some German, you can get it at www.eunomia.de.  They carry quite a bit of the ONline stuff, including some of the Linie 88 Feeling, which right now is going for .95 Euro (about $1.25) per ball. I'm thinking of getting some, but waiting to hear back and see if they ship internationally.
