I must be out of my gourd, but I'm knitting another one. My sister loved mine so much I decided to knit her a purple one for Christmas. It's taken me over six months to work up the nerve to start a new one LOL

Don't get me wrong, I love the finished product, but those repeat straight rows are annoyingly repetitious.

No doubt. Now that I'm working on the one for my sister, I keep casting a longing gaze at the Patons Classic Merino I have in my basket, still all wrapped up and ready to be used. I have a hunch that I'll be knitting a second Clap for myself with that yarn next.  Tongue Of course, the tough choice will be whether to use the Rosewood or Regency colorway. I have both.

Here is my progress on my second clapotis. HandMaiden SeaSilk, laceweight, yarn.
I keep wavering about whether to continue or frog...

It's the pooling of colors I ponder....

One minute I love the thing, the next I think I should frog it (I'm over Half done  Undecided ) and drop or add an increase section to see if it will undo the pooling... Tongue

Huh
Thoughts?

Pooling normally bothers me too, but I like it with that yarn. They're really nice colors and it works. Plus, you know if you frog it and change it, you're going to prefer it this way and then you'll have to frog it again and reknit it this way (or at least that's what would happen to me!).

I love it!  Don't frog!

However, If you're not going to wear it because of the pooling...

I dunno.  Well.  Don't frog.  I stand firmly.  It's gorgeous. Roll Eyes

I just realized it kind of looks like the reflections oil gets when it's in the sun. You know, the rainbowy swirly look? I like it.
