I'm indifferent to clowns but not your finished project. I really love what you've done. Very clever. Jewelry boxes are usually pricey so I don't pay much attention to them. I'm gonna check them out again.

No, I'm not; I'll have to look him up.

Check out your local thrift store. This one was missing a knob on one of the drawers, so it was really cheap. If you have a good thrifty, you should be able to find something similar every now and again.

I've been thinking about shadowboxes/diaramas/shrines lately. So this just fuels my current thoughts. I looked up Joseph Cornell. Nice stuff. This all very similar to what one might find in Somerset Studio which is a fave magazine of mine.
Maybe we should have a challenge...
Rackycoo - My fave thrift store has different sales and now has a frequent shopper card! It's about a one mile walk/bus trip. Maybe I'll go next week after I get paid...

I love pretty much everything you do.  But your vintage-y paper stuff is the best!  Gorgeous.

It's not that I don't want to swap, it's that I often don't have time.  But feel free to ask (especially if it's one that's not too time consuming).

I love this and I don't think it's creepy at all. My family has a history of clowning. Not me but the affinity is still there. Your shrine looks antique. I love the paint layers and the papers used.
