no?  well, let me show you then...

a lot of screaming and yelling went into the making of this piece.  it was my very first attempt at creating something like this.  I'm pretty happy with how she turned out.  Smiley

thank you!   Smiley

I'm thinking of attempting this again with another character now that I know what I'm doing a little better than I did before.   Tongue

and it took many hours.  I lost count after the first 2.   Shocked

Wow. I can understand the yelling and screaming part. lol.

Did you work from a pattern?? How on earth did you manage this?!

Excellent, I'd be very proud to have created something of that detail.

Amazing work! You must have been deeply inspired to have created such a magnificent piece.

The shrink in me cannot help but wonder what draws you so magnetically to the character of Ariel...

a pattern that I made.  using a game sprite I found online, I managed to create a pattern.  the whole "bust" was done in 11/0 Delica beads, so managing this was a bit of a challenge.  it's a pretty good size too.  it's hanging on the wall from a push pin, to give you an idea of its size.

thank you!

and to help you analyze, am an Aries with Pisces tendencies, but I am SO more like my Piscean side, who's element is water.  so I loved to swim when I was a kid and I still do love the water.  plus, I think I'll always believe in mermaids.  Smiley
