I went to Korea and saw this really cool, layered denim skirt. I've started to imitate it by cutting up old jeans. I'm going to make it much longer so it comes down to my ankle. The problem is, it's so boring! I bought some lace, do you think that would spruce it up? Any other ideas? I think if I just keep putting more length on it, it will still be boring. Sad

i think lace would be a good idea, or maybe leaving the edges raw so that each layer frays a little bit. my friend used to have pants like that and it looked really cool.

Buttons, beads, sparkles, a hem of different patterned material, all kinds of ribbon. I jsut saw a tv show this morning that taught ideas for cut up denim skirts just like this one. Good luck.

What about add a patchwork border around the hem with some different fabrics? Or a big bold applique somewhere? Otherwise, like people have said earlier, lace, sparkly bits, beads, etc. would all work really well Smiley
