I think that the cut of the bodice is kind of awkward... I think you need to lengthen to top yellow piece.

But I LOVE the bottom.

you think like an inch or two down and it would look alright?

i think either lengthen the bodice so its under your boobs or make it a bit higher so the pleating starts above them rather than on the middle of the boob - i think that is whats making it look a little unflattering at the moment,  also i would maybe do gathering instead of pleats.

Cute dress! I agree that maybe just a tweak of the top part making it a bit longer so the brown begins beneath the boobie line would do it. Good luck!

yeah isn't it ironic... you spend half of your teen life waiting for your boobs to grow and when they're finally there they start to give you all sorts of trouble seamwise (:

thanks everyone.   Smiley
i think im going to lengthen it.
do you think itll look bad if i just add another section to the bottom?
because there will be that seam line and all.
also im thinking gathering too.
but idk how to do that.
eek.
or maybe ill make smaller pleats...

I think it's cute and the fabric combination is nice. I think it would look better if you extended the yellow part to fit underneath the bust.

Stop being so damned positive. Staring at the sun only blinds some one. By only looking at the positive, you miss an entire beautiful world of shadows and colors. Don't be overly negative, be realistic. The world is so much more complex and beautiful that way.

i think it looks pretty cute, but i agree about the extension of the top yellow piece. i also think the bottom brown piece is a little awkward.
